TORRANCE, Calif. – April 6, 2015 – Keenan, the largest privately held insurance brokerage and consulting firm in California, has announced that Laura Barrera, an expert in Latino affairs, has been engaged to help guide the firm’s new Latino outreach initiative.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to assist a firm like Keenan, with such a longstanding commitment to serving communities in multi-dimensional ways, in its efforts to further strengthen its role in the Latino community,” Barrera said. “We will work together to build long-term relationships that will bring important benefits to small and large businesses, healthcare providers, public agencies, families and individuals.”
The initiative will comprehensively address all aspects of Keenan’s activities including its insurance programs and consulting services, strategic relationships, community service activities, internal infrastructure and employee training to deepen its involvement in the Latino community in ways that address specific needs to create tangible community benefits over the long term.
“As the fastest growing segment of the population in California, the Latino community offers Keenan significant potential in terms of both business development and community involvement,” noted Keenan Chief Strategy Officer, Henry Loubet. “Our firm has always been dedicated to having a positive impact across all aspects of the communities we serve. We look forward to Laura’s contribution to helping us achieve that goal.”
