ACA Planning for Plan Year 2016

Since the Affordable Care Act was signed into law five years ago, we’ve all been kept on our toes as we’ve worked to keep pace with its implementation.  Employers have continuously adapted to the ever-changing requirements — from expanding coverage of dependents up to age 26 to providing a notice of coverage options to employees.  These compliance challenges will continue as you begin planning for 2016 and failing to get these things right can be costly because significant penalties are attached.  We discuss some pitfalls to avoid as you plan for 2016, including:

Note:  The focus of this webinar is on calendar year plans.  The issues for calendar year and non-calendar year plans are very similar, with the key difference being when things need to be done.  We will be having a separate session focused on non-calendar year plans in November.
