TORRANCE Calif. – April 10, 2014 – Kathy Espinoza, MBA, MS, CPE, CIE, a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist and Assistant Vice President, Ergonomics and Safety for California insurance broker Keenan & Associates, will make two keynote presentations at the 2014 Association of Occupational Health Professionals in Healthcare (AOHP) National Conference, scheduled for September 10-13 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, LA. On September 10, Espinoza will give the AOHP Board and Chapter officers practical steps for Finding Balance Between Work and Home to allow them to fully focus on life after work at the end of the day. At the September 11 General Session, she will deliver an upbeat presentation on Building Relationships in Today’s Multi-Generational Workforce, accentuating the positives each generation contributes and how their unique values impact motivation.
Espinoza has been with Keenan since 2003, providing motivational presentations for management and staff, as well as injury prevention training to office personnel, hospital workers (clinical and non-clinical settings,) special education staff, public agencies, and custodial, grounds, EVS employees. In addition to risk control and injury prevention consulting with healthcare organizations and public agencies at Keenan, Espinoza served as a workplace ergonomics instructor at the University of California, Riverside for 10 years. She earned an MBA from University of Redlands, holds a Master’s Degree in Work Science/Physiology and has published more than 50 articles in the fields of ergonomics, leadership and wellness.
The 33rd AOHP Annual National Conference addresses the association’s mission to provide members with opportunities for professional growth through education.
